TODAY'S PROMISE

Jesus said, " You have heard the law that says,

'Love your neighbour and hate your enemy. But I say,

Love your enemies!

Pray for those who persecute you! In that way,

you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven"

- Matthew 5: 43 - 45

TODAY'S THOUGHT

Human nature wants to love friends and hate enemies.

But Jesus brought a new order that adds a divine perspective-

the only way to resolve some conflicts is to reach out in love to

your enemy. You can know that you are maturing as a child

of God when your natural reaction becomes to reach out in love

to those who are against you.
